There’s something so special about families who make it a priority to come together, especially when everyone is traveling in from different states. The Wray family did just that, gathering in the Smokies for a memorable family vacation — and I was honored to help capture it.

This session took place at their rental cabin just outside of Pigeon Forge, which made everything easier on the babies and the mamas. Choosing a familiar, relaxed space is often the key to a smooth session with little ones, and this one could not have gone better. In fact, we made it through a full hour of photos with no tears at all — something that almost never happens! Every baby did amazing, and their sweet personalities truly stole the show.

We started early in the morning to keep things calm and avoid the busy car show traffic in town, which helped set the tone for a laid-back and enjoyable session. Between the mountain views, cozy cabin setting, and a family that clearly loves being together, everything came together perfectly.

Sessions like this are a reminder of why family photos are so important. These moments — grandparents cuddling babies, siblings laughing together, and generations gathered in one place — are the memories that become priceless over time.
