Some sessions just feel like magic—and this was one of them.
Hunter and Jae’Lynn were married about a month ago, but during their visit to the Smoky Mountains, they decided to put their wedding attire back on and capture a few more portraits in a location that feels timeless. I absolutely love when couples take time to celebrate their love in a unique way like this.

The mountains gave us their usual summer drama—mist, a little rain, and that dreamy fog rolling over the ridges. But instead of worrying about the weather, these two embraced it. The soft rain added a romantic, almost cinematic touch to the whole session. Jae’Lynn looked stunning in her gown, and Hunter couldn’t stop smiling at her. These two were all laughter, sweet glances, and natural joy.

We had so much fun creating these portraits together, and it felt like a peaceful little pause in the middle of their trip to just slow down and soak in the newlywed glow. Sessions like this remind me how powerful it can be to capture love in the moment—not just on the wedding day, but beyond.

Hunter and Jae’Lynn, thank you for trusting me to document this beautiful chapter of your story. I hope these images bring back all the happiness of your wedding day and the joy of your time in the Smokies!
