Valentine’s Day is a day for love, surprises, and unforgettable moments—and for Brock and Kimberly, this year’s celebration was one they will never forget. Brock’s proposal to Kimberly was nothing short of perfect, full of romance, excitement, and a little bit of adventure.

One of the most impressive things about Brock’s proposal was how well he kept it a secret. From the moment we started planning, he made sure every detail was in place to create the perfect surprise for Kimberly. His big idea? To pop the question at one of the most scenic spots in Gatlinburg—Anakeesta. With its breathtaking mountain views and charming atmosphere, it was the perfect place to ask the most important question of their lives.

Brock chose the highest point of Anakeesta, the Anavista Tower, which offers 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. The views from up there are absolutely spectacular, and it made the perfect backdrop for a proposal. The plan was to time it just right—closer to sunset, when the colors of the sky would be beautiful and the mood would be just right.

But as we all know, Valentine’s Day means crowds. As the sun began to dip lower, more and more visitors filled the area, and Brock found himself struggling to find enough space to get down on one knee. I could see the concern in his eyes as he kept scanning the area for a small opening. But Brock, being the determined and thoughtful guy that he is, wasn’t going to let anything stand in his way. Finally, he spotted a small gap in the crowd, and without missing a beat, he took his chance.

With Kimberly none the wiser, Brock took a deep breath, got down on one knee, and asked her the big question. The moment was magical—Kimberly’s expression was one of pure shock and joy. She was absolutely taken by surprise and, of course, said YES! It was one of those moments you can feel in the air, the excitement and emotion radiating from them both.

Even though Brock isn’t exactly a fan of being in front of the camera, he was an absolute trooper. After the proposal, we explored the other parts of Anakeesta, capturing some beautiful moments to commemorate the day. The newly engaged couple looked so happy together, and it was such a pleasure to document the rest of their celebration as they soaked in the stunning views and reflected on the incredible moment they just shared.
