The Britt Family’s session was one of those that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. Visiting from North Carolina, they brought together multiple generations to spend time making memories in the Smoky Mountains—and it was so special to witness.

From the very beginning, the kids were at the heart of it all. Watching the grandparents and great-grandparents interact with them was incredibly sweet. There’s something so beautiful about seeing generations connect in such natural, unposed ways—the quiet smiles, the laughter, and the pride that shines through without a word being spoken.

We spent our time exploring the trail, letting the kids lead the way. They picked flowers, collected rocks, and turned the session into a little adventure of their own. And honestly, that’s exactly how it should be. When kids feel free to be themselves, the moments we capture are genuine, joyful, and full of life.

This session wasn’t about perfection or stillness—it was about movement, curiosity, and the kind of memories that will be talked about for years to come. The kids absolutely dominated the session, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Britt Family, thank you for trusting me to capture these moments for you. It was an honor to document such a beautiful season of life together.
