This past week, I had the pleasure of photographing the Ayris family, who traveled all the way from Michigan to enjoy a Smoky Mountain vacation. From the moment we met, it was clear that this session was going to be full of laughter, joy, and memorable moments.

Emberly and Berkley immediately stole the show! While we started with a few posed shots to capture some classic family portraits, it wasn’t long before the girls took over the session. Dancing, twirling, and giggling, they turned our time together into a playful celebration of family fun. Their energy was infectious, and I couldn’t help but capture every spontaneous moment.

What I love most about sessions like this is when families let go of perfection and just enjoy the time together.
