As a photographer in the Smokies, I’ve learned that mountain weather keeps you on your toes—and this session with the Conti family was no exception! As we made our way to the location, we could see the rain clouds creeping over the peaks, which meant we had to work fast. But from the moment I met them, I knew this was going to be such a smooth and fun session.

The Contis were truly one of the most laid-back families I’ve worked with in a while. No stress, no fuss—just a beautiful, easygoing group ready to make some memories together. Everyone rolled with the weather, and you’d never know we were racing the rain. Their calm energy made the entire session feel relaxed and enjoyable.

And then there was little Ezra. 🥹 What a sweetheart! I might be a little biased as a boy mom, but he absolutely stole the show. Whether he was cuddling with his parents or exploring on his own, he brought so much personality and charm to the session. At the very end, just as we were finishing up, Ezra found some rocks and ended the shoot by jumping off like a tiny adventurer. It was the perfect finish to a fun, memorable evening.

I hope the Conti family has the best trip here in the Smokies. Thank you for letting me capture a glimpse of your time together in this beautiful corner of the world!
