One of my favorite things about photographing families in the Smokies is seeing so many loved ones come together from different parts of the country to make new memories. The Sells Family did just that—gathering from several states to spend some quality time together in the mountains, and I was lucky enough to capture a little piece of their adventure!

We met up for a relaxed, scenic session surrounded by the lush green beauty of the Smokies. Everyone was in great spirits, and the kids—especially the boys—really brought their A-game! They were such great little models, climbing on fallen logs and posing like pros. I always love when kids have a little room to explore and be themselves—it makes for the best photos.

And of course, after doing such a good job, the boys earned a big reward: getting to play in the river at the end of the session! Watching them splash and laugh was the perfect way to wrap up our time together. Those spontaneous, joy-filled moments are the ones families treasure for years to come.
