Some sessions are extra special, and this one was just that. Jenny and Bret’s family session was a thoughtful gift, and I was so glad to finally meet this sweet crew and capture some beautiful moments for them here in the Smoky Mountains.

We had to play the waiting game with the weather—rain caused us to reschedule a few times—but we were rewarded with a perfect day. The lush green mountains were absolutely glowing, and this adorable family brought all the warmth and joy to match the scenery.

From the moment we started, they were full of smiles, laughter, and love. Their little girl was a total star, and watching the whole family interact so naturally and happily was such a joy. We photographed on a peaceful bridge nestled in the woods, which gave us that dreamy mountain backdrop I love so much.
