What a joy it was to photograph the beautiful Simonton Family during their visit to the Smokies! From the moment we started, I knew this session was going to be special. This family brought such a fun and relaxed energy — the kind that makes you feel like you’ve known them forever.

We had the most gorgeous backdrop with the rolling green hills and cloudy blue skies, and this crew showed up perfectly coordinated and full of laughter. Every interaction between them was filled with genuine love and connection, and capturing that warmth was such a privilege.

Sometimes I meet families where, by the end of the session, I feel like we should just keep hanging out — this was absolutely one of those sessions. Everyone was so kind, easygoing, and just a blast to be around. And let’s be honest… when everyone looks this good and has that much fun, narrowing down the final gallery is going to be tough!
