It’s not every day that you get to capture such beautiful family moments, but when Lauren and Jillian reached out about booking a family session during their recent vacation from Texas, I knew it would be something special. This trip was more than just a getaway—it was a celebration of family, fun, and making memories together.

The families were absolutely gorgeous, and it was clear from the start just how well everyone got along, especially the two sweet girls, Vivian and Rylee. They were full of energy, laughter, and pure joy, making the whole session such a delight. Their bond was undeniable and added so much warmth to the shoot. It’s always such a pleasure to see young cousins enjoying each other’s company in such a genuine way.

The session took place in the stunning Greenbriar area, and though it was a chilly day, the weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. The recent rain had the river running high, which made for some dramatic, yet beautiful backdrops. There’s something magical about the way the mountains and flowing water come together, and I loved how it added a unique element to the photos. The family was so relaxed and easygoing that they made even the cooler temperatures feel comfortable.

As we explored the area, we stopped to capture some sweet moments by the river, but the highlight of the session came when we climbed up some large rocks by the water to get shots of the breathtaking mountains and rapids. The view was spectacular, and the families did such a wonderful job of leaning into the natural beauty around them. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, with the rugged beauty of the landscape perfectly complementing the warmth and love of the families.
