It was such a joy to reunite with the Surles family for their updated family photos and maternity session! I had the pleasure of capturing their family portraits about this time last year, and it was so wonderful to see how much they’ve grown and changed in just one year.

This time, Ashley had a very special surprise for me: she’s pregnant with a baby girl! Baby Magnolia is due in March 2025, and I couldn’t be more excited for their growing family. Ashley is absolutely glowing during this pregnancy—she looks stunning, and I can already tell that little Magnolia will be as beautiful as her mama.

It was also amazing to see how much Weston has grown since our last session. That little guy has so much energy and personality! He was the perfect big brother in the making, and I have no doubt he’s going to be a wonderful sibling to his baby sister.

For this session, we chose the beautiful French Broad Baptist Church in Dandridge as our location. The church’s charming and peaceful setting was the perfect backdrop for the family photos. The rolling hills, classic architecture, and rustic beauty made it such a special place to document these memories as the Surles family prepares for the arrival of their newest addition.

This session was full of love, laughter, and excitement for the future, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it. I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for this amazing family as they welcome baby Magnolia into the world.
