There are proposals, and then there are proposals that involve not only a heartwarming “yes” but also a celebration of love with family by your side. That’s exactly what happened when Corbin proposed to MaKyla. What made this moment even more special was that MaKyla’s mom reached out to me to capture this incredible day. Having worked with the Waggoner family for a family session just about a year ago, it was so wonderful to see everyone again and be part of such an important chapter in their lives.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a proposal. Clear skies, warm sunshine, and just the right breeze made the whole day feel like it was meant to be. Corbin had planned everything so thoughtfully, and MaKyla’s sister and family worked together to create the most beautiful setup for the proposal. They chose a beautiful spot with the perfect backdrop to ensure that the moment was as breathtaking as the love they share.

What truly made this proposal stand out, though, was that the whole family was there to witness it. There’s something so heartwarming about seeing a couple surrounded by the people they love most when they make such a huge life decision. As Corbin got down on one knee and asked MaKyla to marry him, you could see how much love and joy filled the air—not just between Corbin and MaKyla, but with everyone there. The support, excitement, and happiness from the whole family made the moment that much more unforgettable.

The look on MaKyla’s face when she said “yes” was priceless, and I’m so honored that I could be there to capture it. The love between these two is undeniable, and I have no doubt that their journey together is going to be full of even more beautiful moments.
