Korbin and Ali have been inseparable since high school. Korbin was a sophomore, and Ali was a freshman when they first started dating, and since then, they’ve been by each other’s side through every high and low. Fast forward seven years, and they’ve built a beautiful life together. They recently took a huge step by getting a dog—a miniature Dachshund named Davie—and just a year ago, they became homeowners, sharing their first house together. And to top it all off, Ali was about to finish nursing school as Korbin was preparing to ask her to spend forever with him.

Korbin knew that a proposal to Ali had to be something memorable, so they made the trip all the way from Illinois to the beautiful Gatlinburg Overlook for the big moment. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect: snow-capped mountains stretching out in the background, creating a breathtaking view that matched the beauty of their relationship.

As soon as we arrived at the overlook, Korbin couldn’t hide his nerves! It was so sweet to see how much he cared about making this moment absolutely perfect for Ali. Ali had no idea what was coming—she was simply enjoying the stunning view, unaware that her life was about to change in the most amazing way.

With the mountains as the backdrop, Korbin took a deep breath and got down on one knee. The moment Ali said “yes” was filled with so much emotion, love, and pure happiness. There were hugs, smiles, and even a few happy tears. It was a perfect reflection of the love they’ve shared for so many years.
