There’s something truly special about getting to photograph a family you’ve known for years. I first met Rita long before I began my photography career. We worked together for quite a while, and to see her and her wonderful family now, asking me to capture their memories, was an absolute honor.
When Rita and her husband Andrew reached out to me for their family photos, I was thrilled! We decided to head to the Harrisburg Covered Bridge, a spot I’ve always loved. Growing up, it was a quiet, peaceful place to visit, but this time around, I was surprised at just how busy it was. The bridge was bustling with other visitors, so we had to work quickly to get the perfect shots, but everyone in the Newton family was so patient and easygoing—it made all the difference.
The weather couldn’t have been better. The skies were clear, and the sun was out so that made the day feel just right. It’s moments like these that make you truly appreciate the beauty of nature and how it can set the perfect backdrop for such a special family.
The Newtons are such a beautiful family, both inside and out. Their love for each other was so evident throughout the session, and I’m so happy we were able to capture those precious moments.
It’s always an incredible feeling when clients trust me with something so personal. Thank you, Rita and Andrew, for allowing me to be a part of your family’s story. Here’s to many more memories to come!
